Guide for authors

  • The manuscript text should be submitted as an editable text file (.doc, .docx, .rtf), without any elements that identify the authors (especially personal data and affiliations).
  • Illustrations (drawings, diagrams, and photographs) should be attached as separate graphic files of publishable quality.
  • The article length should not exceed: original work - 10 pages of standardized text, case study or review - 8 pages of standardized text, letter to the editor - 2 pages of standardized text.
  • Providing the ORCID number is not mandatory but recommended for unambiguous identification.
  • Pay close attention to the completeness and order of authors and the accuracy of their affiliations, as subsequent changes are limited.
  • The abstract, reflecting the article's structure, should not exceed 250 words.
  • Original and review articles should follow this structure: INTRODUCTION, AIM, MATERIAL AND METHODS, RESULTS, DISCUSSION, CONCLUSIONS, REFERENCES.
  • Case study articles should follow this structure: INTRODUCTION, AIM, CASE STUDY, DISCUSSION, CONCLUSIONS, REFERENCES.
  • Letters to the editor should follow this structure: INTRODUCTION, AIM, DISCUSSION, CONCLUSIONS, REFERENCES.
  • The manuscript should adhere to English spelling rules. Font: Times New Roman; font size: main text 12 pt, footnotes and tables 10 pt; line spacing: 1.5; paragraph indent: 1.25.
  • When using an abbreviation, its first occurrence should be followed by the full expression in parentheses.
  • Tables should be titled and numbered consecutively (Table 1, Table 2, etc.). Each table should be referenced in the main text. Explanations for the table are placed directly below it.
  • Illustrations should be captioned and numbered consecutively (Figure 1, Figure 2). Do not use separate numbering for photographs, drawings, and diagrams.
  • SI units should be used.
  • References should be listed in the order of their appearance in the text, according to the AMA standard. Each subsequent entry must be numbered, which is used as a reference in the main text.
